Marija Meded is an actor and producer for the physical theatre company Cirkus Trattofon. She was previously working as a civic engineer and is also a trained ceramist. She was born and raised in Serbia and Bosnia and came to Sweden in 1994.
LudmilaChristeseva är konstnär och kurator. Genom åren har hon initierat flera internationella projekt för att lyfta fram kvinnors röster inom konsten, t ex genom ett uppdrag via Svenska Institutet där hon arbetar med att synliggöra belarusiska kvinnliga konstnärer i världen. Sedan kriget i Ukraina bröt ut har Christeseva dragit igång en rad fredsinitiativ för att stötta ukrainska kvinnor och barn som tvingats fly på grund av kriget. Hennes fokus har varit på hantverk och kreativitet som ett språk som förenar människor för fred och frihet i svåra tider. Projektet “Hantverk som enar, helar och håller” har bland annat bestått av gemensamt flätande av kamouflagenät på offentliga platser runtom i världen. Detta fredsinitiativ har uppmärksammats på flera sätt: under våren 2022 deltog dåvarande utrikesminister Ann Linde i projektet när det visades på Armémuseum och SVT har gjort flera reportage om initiativet. Christeseva är vinnare av Impact of the Year Award och var nominerad till Nelson Mandela-priset av Stockholms kommun.
Ludmila Christeseva is an artist and curator. Over the years, she has initiated several international projects amplifying female voices in the arts. Her important ongoing initiative is to empower Belarusian female artists on the global art scene is supported by the Swedish Institute. Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, Christeseva has launched a series of initiatives to support Ukrainian women and children who have been forced to flee because of the war. Christeseva’s focus has been on crafts and creativity as a language that unites people for peace and freedom in difficult times. The current project “Crafts that unite, heal, and last” has, among other things, introduced joint weaving of camouflage nets in public places as an integration strategy uniting people for hope and optimism. Christeseva is a Winner of Impact of the Year Award and has been nominated for Nelson – Mandela Prize by the Stockholm’s Municipality.
